PACIFICA :: 29 MAR 2045 -- A Rastafarian clothing shop was shut down yesterday following anonymous reports from concerned citizens. Investigators found counterfeit clothing being sold as genuine cultural product.
"We see this from time to time," said Agent Jason Miller. "Some well meaning grandmother or aspiring seamster wants to get paid for their work and skip the proper licensing and controls. But we have standards for what we allow sold in sanctioned markets."
"We'd really like to remind any one looking to sell culturally themed material to reach out and get the job done correctly," Miller offered to aspiring tailors and business people. "We really do work with many of you every day to achieve the goals you have."
Remember, trust only products approved by the Night City Office of Cultures. If you're interested in getting your products approved, please contact Jason Miller's office at the Culture License Desk ( agent://74-112-483 ).
The owner of the store was unreachable as they are being detained in Night City jail pending arraignment, scheduled for September.
"Your foundation in silicon."
"Powering your way forward."
19 MAR 2045 -- You may have seen the anonymous videos posted to the CitiNet sometime last week. They claim to showcase a series of processes to 'refine' the widely used and trusted Biotechnica AlleviatePro+, but after consulting with various experts in the field, it has been shown to be dangerous and lacks efficacy.
Experts say that the techniques demonstrated could easily be fouled, resulting in an actively dangerous compound. NetWatch has removed the videos on request of Biotechnica and the Night City Government as a matter of public safety.
If you have any tips on the creator of these dangerous videos, please contact Kim Kitsuragi at the Night City Police Department ( agent://75-042-944 ).
THE GLEN :: 19 MAR 2045 -- Police responded to a disturbance at the Tailspin Bar in The Glen last night. Initial reports are of a crazed man shouting about corrupt officials in the late evening.
Evan Sinclair ( image ), a recently fired Network News 54 writer, was harassing otherwise peaceful partygoers with raves and rants. "He just kept talking about money and the cops being on the take," one eye-witness spectator commented to our investigators.
When the local management had enough of the complaints from other patrons, our brave boys in blue were called to handle the situation. Sinclair, clearly distraught and likely on drugs, refused to cooperate and even began shooting! As a matter of public safety, NCPD returned fire; Sinclair died of his wounds on scene.
When reached for comment, Captain Holt of the Glen precinct responded that the claims were "obviously delusional".
"We see a future in you."
"Level up your play."
